64-BitsipXecs main (release 3.9 / 3.10) has been ported to 64-bit / x86-64. The source is still in a separate branch available here. We are looking for testers as we would like to merge this branch back into main. Binary builds are not yet available, so you will have to build it yourself. Recommended distribution is Fedora or CentOS. sipXecs 3.9 / 3.10 has also been ported to PowerPC (ppc) to run on both 64-bit and 32-bit. |

Estimates indicate that by moving to the Sun SPARC T1 processor, a three fold increase in performance of the media subsystem of sipX could result. |
