Localization packages can be used not only to localize sipXecs software, but also to deliver localization files for third party applications to the file system. When a localization package is installed, third party localization files are installed into subdirectories of the directory /usr/share/sipxpbx/third_party. At the moment, there are no naming guidelines for these subdirectories, but the recommendation is to use the company name as the main subdirectory for the localization files. That way, in case of multiple third party applications, each company can manage directories used by their applications to avoid potential conflict.

If the installed localization files cannot be used by the third party application directly in the installation directory, it is the responsibility of the application to copy/move the files to the applications directory structure where these files are expected.
