HowTo configure Ekiga with sipX

Ekiga Softphone (formerly Gnome Meeting) is available for most platforms.

Configuration is easy for sipX.

  • Set the Account Name to what you would like displayed as your user name.
  • The Registrar is the sipXecs SIP domain.
  • The user should be set to your extension.
  • Password is the SIP password.
  • Authentication Login should also be set to your extension.
